Pure International, a subsidiary of Pure Consulting driven by its purpose of Delivering Saudi Arabia's Narrative to the World, recently visited Indonesia alongside Pure Consulting's leaders, in partnership with Eurogroup, to deepen relationships with key stakeholders and explore new avenues for collaboration between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
Throughout the visit, the team engaged with some of Indonesia's most prominent corporations and strategic institutions, including BKPM (Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board), Astra Otoparts, Binawan Group, Kimia Farma, PT Indomobil, PT Supra Boga Lestari, and Sinar Mas, exchanging perspectives on investment, economic transformation, and the opportunities shaping the future of both markets. Their hospitality and collaborative spirit strengthened strategic relationships and laid the foundation for future opportunities.
The visit reflects the growing momentum of Saudi-Indonesian relations, built on decades of cultural exchange, shared values, and strong people-to-people connections. These longstanding ties continue to provide a solid foundation for deeper economic cooperation, increased investment, and long-term partnerships between both nations.
A key highlight of the visit was a strategic media engagement with CNN Indonesia, where AlShakhshir and Al-Safi shared insights into Saudi Arabia's transformation journey and the opportunities emerging under Vision 2030. The discussion explored the Kingdom's growing role as a regional and global investment destination, supported by economic diversification, regulatory reforms, and ambitious national development initiatives.
The interview highlighted the rapid expansion of Saudi Arabia's non-oil economy, which accounted for 55% of the Kingdom's GDP in 2025, driven by growth across tourism, logistics, manufacturing, technology, and entertainment. The leaders also discussed how major global events, including the AFC Asian Cup 2027, Expo 2030 Riyadh, and the 2034 FIFA World Cup, are creating significant opportunities across hospitality, construction, logistics, technology, and professional services.
Khalid AlShakhshir and Anas Al-Safi highlighted Saudi Arabia's streamlined and investor-centric ecosystem, led by the Ministry of Investment's efforts to simplify and digitalize the investment journey for global investors. They noted the Kingdom's attractive incentives and tax exemptions that empower foreign investors to establish a lasting competitive advantage, including a potential 10-year income tax exemption for eligible investments and flexibility through exemptions from certain local labor requirements, further enhancing Saudi Arabia's appeal as a leading destination for international investment and regional growth.
Speaking on Saudi Arabia's long-term outlook, the delegation emphasized that Vision 2030 represents a milestone within a broader national transformation journey. As the Kingdom continues to evolve beyond 2030, Saudi Arabia is increasingly positioned as a strategic hub connecting the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, unlocking regional and cross-border opportunities for international investors and businesses.
